Discoveries on water desalination by CERTAIN team members makes Analyst journal cover.

A recent research article published by a team from the Microsystems and Nanosystems Laboratory directed by Associate Professor Shaurya Prakash graces the cover of the new issue of the Analyst (a biweekly peer-reviewed scientific journal covering all aspects of analytical chemistry, bioanalysis, and detection science). Prof. Prakash currently serves as the chair of the CERTAIN faculty advisory committee. The paper, entitled Surface dependent enhancements in water vapor permeation through nanochannels, was authored by Ph.D. students Kaushik K.

Dr. Robert Hazen, Senior Staff Scientist at the Carnegie Institution’s Geophysical Laboratory and George Mason University, will be giving a public talk on Friday, September 21, 2018, in room 291 of Mendenhall Laboratory (125 South Oval Drive), at 1:45 pm.
